Triplets

Triplets is a set of three sculptural wall cabinets that merge functional storage with carved surface design. Each cabinet features a solid walnut door, deeply carved with flowing, organic forms that appear to move across the three panels as a continuous composition. The natural grain of the walnut interacts with the carved contours, creating shifting patterns of light and shadow across the surface.

Behind the doors, the cabinets reveal a vivid contrast: interiors constructed from birch plywood and spray painted in a bold red finish. Glass shelves provide a light, minimal structure for displaying books or objects, allowing the interior colour to frame the contents.

When closed, the cabinets read as a sculptural triptych on the wall, the carved walnut surfaces forming an abstract landscape. When opened, they reveal a functional storage space that contrasts warmth and texture with clean, modern materials.
